• The Consumer Affairs Committee is a part-time local government employee commissioned by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare under the Consumer Affairs Committee Act.
• The local welfare officer also serves as a children's committee stipulated in the Child Welfare Law.
• The term of office is three years (reappointment is possible) and I am working as an unpaid volunteer. (Activity expenses (fixed amount) such as necessary transportation expenses, communication expenses, training participation expenses are paid.)
• In Yokohama, one local welfare committee member is assigned to every 200 to 440 households. About 280 local welfare committee members and children's committee members are recommended by the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and others.

We have issued a survey to confirm the status of the current situation, such as "facts that have the same livelihood" concerning the pension, such as survivors' pensions, and "facts of dependents" for the recognition of dependents.

Investigations that can be conducted by local welfare officers and children's committees are limited, and those that are difficult to demonstrate or confirm facts cannot be handled.
For requests such as "certification of unemployed / unpaid income", a "survey on dependent facts" will be issued based on interviews with the client.
