Introduction of activities in FY2024
Kanazawa Festival Ikiiki Festa (October 19, 2024)
At Ikiiki Festa, we opened a coffee booth by the local welfare committee members. We handed enlightenment articles along with coffee, and were able to let many people know about the existence and activities of the local welfare committee members. . In addition, we have been setting up a consultation booth since last year, and we were able to engage in activities close to the inhabitants of the ward.
The Chief Children's Committee held a charity fair with junior high school students in the city as a “Kanazawakko Junior High School Volunteer Project”. More than 50 junior high school students conducted everything from preparation to operation. On the day, many parents and children came and it was a very lively booth. The proceeds will be donated through the Japanese Red Cross Society to earthquake disaster donation, Noto Peninsula in 2024.

Consumer Affairs Committee and Children's Committee PR activities (May 24, 2024)
There are 241 local welfare and children's committees in Kanazawa Ward (as of May 31, 2024). On May 24, 2024, we conducted PR activities at West Exit, Kanazawa Bunko Station, in order to let everyone know about us who continue to work for community development where everyone can live with peace of mind.
In the area in charge, the local welfare officer and the children's committee connect to specialized institutions such as community care plazas so that residents can consult with various living problems and concerns and receive necessary support in each area. Plays a role as a bridge.
Please contact Kanazawa Ward Health and Welfare Division for local welfare and children's committees.
