No.3 In the garden of ancient temple, the 27th Shomeiji Firewood Noh Noh

On May 3, on a refreshing day like May, Shomeiji Firewood Noh was held at Shomeiji Temple in Kanazawa-cho, Kanazawa-ku.
Beginning with commentary by Noh performer Ujin Sakurama and Kyogen teacher Mansai Nomura, we proceed with Rengin by local children, fire ceremony by a woodworking group in the ward, and dance "Senju", one-tone "Rokuura", kyogen "bell sound", and Noh "Tomoe". There are kyogen's laughter, the sadness of Noh's story, and the performances related to Kanazawa.
It was my first appreciation, but I was able to experience the wonderfulness of Japanese classical performing arts and enjoy the mysterious world of firewood Noh and the illuminated gardens of ancient temple.
The next year's schedule (scheduled for April 29, 2025) has also been announced, so I would like many people to come.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the understanding and efforts of the Executive Committee, local Neighborhood Associations, fire brigade, and volunteers who supported the event.
