Kanazawa Ward is located at the southern tip of Yokohama, facing Tokyo Bay to the east, Yokosuka, Zushi and Kamakura to the south, Sakae Ward to the west, and Isogo Ward to the north. Most of the ward is a rugged hill, with a terrain of about 100m intricate mountains.
Inland areas, the only large-scale green area in the southern part of Yokohama City is formed, and the coastal area has valuable seaside resources as Yokohama City. In addition, since it is located south of Kanto, there is little snowfall, and the strong west wind in autumn is slightly eased. In winter, the temperature is loose due to the influence of the Kuroshio Current, cooler in summer than in the center of the city, and warmer in winter.
