(Disability Discrimination Case 2) Schools with developmental disabilities, etc.

Last updated on February 9, 2021.

  • All cases received do not correspond to "disability discrimination". In addition, we have not confirmed whether the contents are true.
  • Information on names of individuals, facilities, etc. is excluded from the published content.
  • A detailed explanation of long-term cases and the situation will be provided with a summary.

Details of the case

There are children attending individual support classes at school. I participated in subjects and events that I could interact with in general classes.
・Just to say individually, children do bad things or say (e.g., uncomfortable).
・I forgot the handouts from the exchange class. (Even big things such as application for photos of events and announcement of graduation ceremony)
・Some teachers also think that "individuals can play."
・In the new semester, I use an exchange-class shoe box, but only my child did not have a name.
・I don't feel comfortable in junior high school. While saying, "Please," "I can't see anything, I can't see it all the time." "If there is a parent's attendance,"…It's hard to enter after all.

Regarding the case, what I wanted to do and what I thought would be better.

Regarding the handouts, it should be something if teachers can communicate with each other in an easy-to-understand manner. If the teacher in the exchange class is conscious of individual children as children in their class, I think they will rarely forget them. There may be budget problems, but I hope the number of teachers will increase throughout the school. I have a feeling that I can't write yet.
