TEAM Rehabilitation Department
"Together, Everyone, rehabilitation department to Achieve More"
Together, we aim to become a rehabilitation department that achieves more things.
Code of Conduct
I value people
Based on the patient's position.
The most important thing for us is the patient. All of our activities are for the smiles of our patients. When we think about things, we think from the "patient's position" and "What does it bring to the patient?" "Is it meeting the patient's request?"
We will work on organizational structure and operational planning with an awareness of what kind of changes will ultimately bring to patients.
We will become an organization where individuals and departments can grow and develop together and share results.
People play a leading role in the management of the department. There are a lot of staff in the rehabilitation department. Through our professional work, we will create an organization where each person can enhance human power, deepen pride and confidence, appreciate each other, and play an active role.
We are committed to sincerity.
We will build trust and trust by focusing on "seriousness" in all activities, such as the way the department should be, medical treatment attitude, and the way of thinking of each staff member.

Support team
The support team supports rehabilitation from the side.
In fiscal 2021, we positioned a multi-disciplinary support team as an initiative of the entire Rehabilitation Department, and started side support for the therapist in charge of each patient and the team. The support team consists of a management support team that supports safety management operations within the rehabilitation department and a medical support team that specializes in solving patient issues.
The management support team consists of two teams, safety management support and equipment management support, consisting of the chief in charge of each management and the therapist in charge of operation of the PT, OT, ST Psychology departments, and operates on an annual plan tailored to the operation of safety management in hospitals and rehabilitation departments.
Currently, the medical support team consists of two teams: seating medical support and higher brain dysfunction medical support, and consists of department chiefs and therapists who wish to participate. Activities include study meetings and study sessions at the request of field personnel.
All teams are actively working with patients to improve their functions more safely and faster.
Safety Management Support Team
"From the aspect of risk management, we support safe and secure rehabilitation treatment!"
Achievement targets
You can practice initial response in an emergency!
0 incidents that occur with the same factor!
Activities
Overall training, poster posting, training for new hires and transfer staff, sharing case studies
It is a team that aims to support risk management related to medical practice so that both patients and therapists can carry out rehabilitation with peace of mind.
We systematically conduct EM call response training and chest compression technique training assuming various situations, and support the acquisition of appropriate procedures and procedures. We also provide training on the structure and handling of routes (nasogastric tubes, bladder balloon catheters, infusions, etc.). In addition, we are also working to prevent patient misidentification and to consider countermeasures through case studies of near-miss incidents in clinical situations.
Equipment Management Support Team Wheelchair
"We protect patients from poor maintenance of wheelchairs and incorrect use!"
Wheelchair inspection
Wheelchair inspection
In our hospital, we use a lot of modular wheelchairs, so the first week of each month is a priority week for wheelchair inspection, and all staff in the rehabilitation department are working on voluntary inspections of specified parts.
A monthly inspected card is placed on a wheelchair so that it can be seen that the inspection is being performed reliably.
Wheelchair operation training
Wheelchair operation training
We will provide training for new hires and transfer staff on the types, characteristics, and operation methods of wheelchairs at our hospital.
In addition, we also manage accessories such as wheelchair cushions, manage adjustment tools, and collect information on wheelchair safety management so that patients can always use wheelchairs safely!
Seating support team
"Activities on wheelchairs are also one of the rehabilitation approaches."
I struggle every day to aim for such a wheelchair that is easy to move, easy to rush!
Adjusting according to the patient's physical function
Every Wednesday, we encourage all staff in the rehabilitation department to voluntarily inspect the specified parts.
Higher brain dysfunction medical support team
"We aim to ensure that patients with higher brain dysfunction can live a hospital life with peace of mind!"
"Higher brain dysfunction" is a disorder that interferes with attention, memory, behavior, learning, etc. due to brain damage. Unlike paralysis, etc., it is said to be an "invisible obstacle" because it is difficult to understand from others.
The team started by soliciting staff's opinions on episodes in ward life for patients with higher brain dysfunction and necessary support.
Based on that opinion, we are discussing what we can do to understand higher brain dysfunction and support patients. I'll do my best!
Human resource development
In accordance with the "human resource development system" pointed out by Yokohama City, we have created a "human resource development vision" that shows the basic way of thinking about human resource development and are promoting the development.
- “OJT (On-the-Job Training) is the center of human resource development, and the basis of human resource development is to effectively consider personnel evaluation, training, and personnel changes. By linking three personnel measures (HR evaluation, training, and personnel changes), we aim to support the development of skills and career development of each employee, and to bring out individual abilities to the maximum extent.
- In the “OJT in each workplace”, in addition to the “basic guidance and training” (vertical), which is conducted systematically and systematically, “raising and learning” (yoko Naname) in daily communication is also considered as “OJT in a broad sense,” and the entire team promotes OJT of “vertical” + “yoko Naname”.
- In the training program, we actively encourage participation in workshops, academic competitions, in-hospital workshops, and training programs by the Yokohama City Human Resources Development Division.
- We have a personnel change with Yokohama Municipal Citizen's Hospital. We also conduct training exchanges with the Yokohama City Rehabilitation Center, Yokohama City University Hospital and the Citizens' Medical Center.
- In the workplace where newly hired staff and job changers are assigned, the direct chief is designated as “trainers” and the senior staff in charge of guidance is designated as “trainers”, and “required staff image”, “stage-specific training policy” and “training” Based on the plan, we train systematically and systematically.
