1.Overview
When the frozen tofu is opened, it smells ammonia, but is it degraded?
2.Test Results
It is thought to be derived from ammonia gas used in the process of producing frozen tofu. This ammonia gas was used to increase swelling and is not alteration of frozen tofu. There is no problem if you eat it after dispersing ammonia gas.

Frozen tofu is also known as Takano tofu, shimi tofu, ice tofu, etc.
