What is the Yokohama City Hospital Safety Managers' Meeting?
The Yokohama City Hospital Safety Managers' Meeting aims to gather safety management personnel at City University Hospital, Municipal Hospital, Core Hospital, etc. in the wake of a medical accident that occurred in the city to exchange information and train medical safety. Was established in 2000.
In 2009, the tenth year was reached, and with this opportunity, we invited safety management personnel belonging to other hospitals in the city to participate in workshops and briefings, and decided to post the contents of the meeting on our website. did. We think that there are many useful contents for medical safety measures of each medical institution in the city, so we hope that you can utilize it.
The hospitals that make up the meeting consist of 13 hospitals in the city, and in addition to the plenary session twice a year, there are various subcommittees (Radiation Subcommittee, Test Subcommittee, Clinical Engineering Subcommittee, Nursing Subcommittee, Drug Subcommittee). In addition, we hold planning subcommittees as appropriate to examine the contents of the meeting.

This time, we invited Dr. Niikura, a lawyer who has been active as a patient proxy/agent, to organize a lecture on medical lawsuits. He gives lectures based on actual cases, such as when requests and complaints from patients will lead to medical lawsuits and the patient's awareness of problems.
About the Special Committee
The Yokohama City Hospital Safety Managers' Meeting has established a special subcommittee.
The Specialized Subcommittee consists of each profession.

In addition, we examine and exchange information on medical safety measures related to each business.

◆Blood collection business checklist (prepared in January 2017) ◆<<Inspection Committee>>
Training for blood collection is mainly conducted by OJT, and it seems that there are many facilities where the training content is not unified.
The Testing Subcommittee extracts problems from blood sampling sites at each facility, and is intended not only for clinical laboratory technicians but also for medical professionals in charge of blood sampling.
In addition, we have created a blood collection business checklist with the goal of using it at many facilities.
This time, by using the Excel file, it is possible to edit the training content that matches the operation of each facility.
We would like to hear the opinions of everyone who used this time and refer to them for future activities.

◆Checklist for preventing falls and falls in the laboratory (created in March 2012) ◆<<Inspection Committee>>
The Inspection Subcommittee has shared information on incident cases reported from each facility since its inception.
From fiscal 2010, we will focus on analyzing falls from the reports using the 4M5E method, and consider measures to prevent recurrence.
And I created a self-checklist. Please use this to prevent falls in the laboratory.
