About infectious disease prevention measures of child
Thank you for your cooperation in preventing infection and spreading.
Last updated on March 5, 2024.
To the parents of children and elementary school student students
Request from Kohoku Ward Health and Welfare Center
A number of pathogens (such as viruses) that cause infectious diseases have been found, but norovirus, which causes infectious gastroenteritis, is particularly prevalent nationwide every year. In addition, there are cases where infection by multiple pathogens spreads at the same time.
Infection can be prevented by basic infectious disease countermeasures.
In order to prevent infectious diseases from spreading in places where children live in a group, such as nursery schools, kindergartens, and schools, we ask for your cooperation in preventing infection and preventing the spread of infection at your home.
Let's have a health observation and an early consultation
1.Health observation
Observe your family's health condition (whether you have cold symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever, and cough).
If you have any symptoms, please contact the nursery school, kindergarten, school, etc. you are attending and take a rest.
2.Early consultation
If you have any symptoms, consult your doctor as soon as possible.
Infectious diseases (including colds) are said to be highly infectious for one or two days after symptoms appear.
In group life such as nursery schools, pathogens can be transmitted to other children.
Be sure to have a medical examination, tell them about the epidemic situation of the garden and school at the time of consultation, and make sure that there are no problems when going to school or going to school.
3.Adequate rest
Even if the symptoms are relieved, living a group life may result in a loss of physical strength and worsen the symptoms.
After taking enough rest, please resume attending school and attending school.
Especially for small children, try to hydrate frequently so that they do not become dehydrated.
To prevent the spread of infectious diseases
Please take basic measures against infectious diseases, such as washing your hands with soap.
