Overview
1 Purpose
As of October 1, 2024, some of Ooka 1-chome have special coordinated commuting areas (*1) [(Figure 2) Area A] where you can select an elementary school (designated school: Maita Elementary School, host school: Ooka Elementary School). However, depending on the selected elementary school, there are normal cases where you wish to enter Maita Junior High School, which is not designated school (Minami Junior High School). The same situation is also available on the east side of the area [(Fig. 2) Area B].
Therefore, as a countermeasure against issues related to the school area in the area, students entering junior high school in 2026 will implement the following measures.
①The school area will be changed in Area A and Area B.
②For Area A, as before, two elementary schools (Makita Elementary School and Ooka Elementary School) can be selected, and two junior high schools (Minami Junior High School and Makita Junior High School) can be selected. You.
③For junior high school students entering in 2025, we will operate the designated out-of-area study system (* 2) in accordance with 1 and 2 above.
※1 Special adjustment school area: You can choose between designated school and the host school when you enter or enter your school. There are no special requirements for selection.
※2 Out-of-school enrollment system: This system allows students to go to school after interviews with both schools other than designated school.

※Supplement
When applying for out-of-area study at Makita Junior High School, you do not need to have an interview with the elementary school principal, but please tell the elementary school principal that you will apply for admission to Maita Junior High School under the designated out-of-area study system.
