Statutory exemption

When the first insured person corresponds to any of the following, please report. . Payment of insurance premiums during the applicable period is exempt. This is called statutory exemption.

1. Disability Basic Pension, disability welfare pension or disability mutual aid pension (limited to grades 1 and 2), disability pension, which was paid before March 1986 by the National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin), Employees' Pension Insurance, Seafarer Insurance and Mutual Aid Association, and when a person becomes eligible for disability benefits under the Benefits Law, etc.
2. When receiving livelihood assistance under the Public Assistance Act
3. When being housed in a national sanatorium or national sanatorium, etc.
