Certificate of change in street name and lot number

The street name lot number change proof is a document that proves that the street name lot number has been changed by the land parcel maintenance project in the past.
In the following cases where public records of public offices cannot be rewritten without the application of the principal, a certificate will be issued for the procedure.

• Changes in vehicle inspection certificate
• Real estate ownership registration change registration
• Registration of change of corporate location and representative of Address
• Change of licenses and permits in Address

Anyone can charge it.

• The “Change of street name and lot number” issued by Family Registry Division proves the name and address of the person who lived there at the time of the change (before and after the change).
• A certificate can be issued only if it is confirmed that the person subject to the certification had registered as a resident at the time of the change.
• If you are unable to confirm that you registered as a resident at the time of the change, please consider applying for a “Certificate of Change of Land Name” issued by General Affairs Division.

※The Certificate of Change of Land Name, etc. issued by General Affairs Division is not a proof of change in Address, but a change in land name ("ward name", "town name" and "lot number").
