①Strengthening transportation functions in southern and wide areas of Yokohama
From the southern part of Yokohama City, access functions to the city center of Yokohama, Kamakura city area and Fujisawa city area will be improved.
By connecting the Yokohama Shonan Road, the Yokohama Loop South Line and the Sakae IC / JCT (tentative name), the access function to the Tomei Expressway and the Yokohama Yokosuka Road will be improved.
②Eliminate traffic congestion
Since the shape of the Taya intersection will be changed, it is expected that the traffic congestion that occurs when entering and exiting Route 4 will be resolved.
③Ensure the safety of pedestrians
As an alternative road to the prefectural road Taya Fujisawa without a sidewalk, the maintenance of the sidewalk of this project will ensure a safe and comfortable walking space.
