How large (weight) vehicles do special vehicle traffic permits?
A
The Road Law stipulates that the maximum size and weight of vehicles that can pass on the road be determined by the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance.
- Width
- 2.5 meters
- Height
- 3.8 meters
But, about relaxation designation road, height 4.1 meters - Length
- 12 meters
- Weight
- Total weight: 20 tons, shaft weight: 10 tons, wheel load: 5 tons
However, for the designated roads, the total weight is 25 tons. - Minimum radius
- 12 meters
If you want to pass a vehicle that exceeds any of the above maximum limits, you need to apply for a "special vehicle traffic permit".
