River Rehabilitation Project
Yokohama City has selected small and medium-sized rivers that require drastic flood control measures as planned 28 rivers, and is working to reduce the flood damage by implementing urban infrastructure river improvement projects and mutatis mutandis river improvement projects. As for the scale of the renovation, based on river renovation that does not cause damage even at least about 50 mm of hourly rainfall, the narrow meandering river will be a wide and linear river so that floods can be safely drained when flooding due to heavy rain etc. We are proceeding.
