⇒About "town development making use of history"
Q2 Even Yokohama citizens can pay their hometown tax in Yokohama City?
A Of course, it is possible and is subject to tax credit. We believe that using a part of your tax for what you want to support, in other words, how to use the tax yourself is the important significance of your hometown tax payment. However, due to the revision of the Local Tax Law in 2019, donations from people in the residential area will not be able to provide return goods with consideration elements.
About oldness and tax payment, please see WEB page of Policy Bureau financial resources securing promotion section.
In 1988, the City of Yokohama established the “Guidelines for Town Development Utilizing History” and, with the cooperation of owners, worked to utilize the conservation in Historic buildings. In fiscal 2013, in order to formulate "Promotion of" Town Development Utilizing History "," which describes issues and future measures in promoting town development utilizing history, and to promote initiatives with citizens, we showed the direction of conservation in Historic buildings through citizen funds and trusts.
