Assistance in measures to install blue sheets, etc. in damaged houses (emergency repair)
If a disaster occurs and Yokohama City applies the Disaster Relief Act, it will assist in urgent measures to prevent further damage to houses.
We are not currently carrying out emergency repairs!
In the event of a disaster, we will inform you about the application of this system at any time.
In addition, please note that if you take voluntary measures from the occurrence of a disaster to the start of the system, you will not be eligible for assistance.
Overview of Emergency Repair (Measures) System
When a project is implemented
When a large-scale natural disaster such as major earthquake or heavy rain occurred, causing a large number of damage, and Kanagawa Prefecture decided to implement "rescue under the Disaster Relief Act."
Target households (houses)
- The residence in which the applicant currently resides. (Lending properties are not allowed)
- Houses are damaged by a disaster, rainwater etc. may enter, and damage may increase if left unchecked.
- Being able to live in the affected area
Covered repairs (measures)
Installation of blue sheets on damaged roofs
- Installation of plywood, etc. on damaged windows and exterior walls
- Installation of safety nets to prevent damage caused by falling of damaged outer walls, etc.
Limits
Up to 50,000 yen per case
Construction contract method
The applicant obtains an estimate from the repair contractor, and the city and the repair contractor enter into a construction contract directly. (up to the limit)
When the amount of construction exceeds the limit
The contract is divided into two.
- With the amount up to the limit, the city and the repair contractor conclude a construction contract.
- For the remaining amount, the applicant and the repair contractor enter into a construction contract (own expense)
About after construction
There is no subsequent procedure for the applicant because the city and the repair contractor have a construction contract.
However, if you contract with a repair contractor for the portion exceeding the limit and have the construction work done, you will need to pay the fee for each.
