When a large-scale natural disaster such as major earthquake or heavy rain occurred, causing a large number of damage, and Kanagawa Prefecture decided to implement "rescue under the Disaster Relief Act."

• The residence in which the applicant currently resides. (Lending properties are not allowed)
• Houses are damaged by a disaster, rainwater etc. may enter, and damage may increase if left unchecked.
• Being able to live in the affected area

Up to 50,000 yen per case

The applicant obtains an estimate from the repair contractor, and the city and the repair contractor enter into a construction contract directly. (up to the limit)

The contract is divided into two.

• With the amount up to the limit, the city and the repair contractor conclude a construction contract.
• For the remaining amount, the applicant and the repair contractor enter into a construction contract (own expense)

There is no subsequent procedure for the applicant because the city and the repair contractor have a construction contract.
However, if you contract with a repair contractor for the portion exceeding the limit and have the construction work done, you will need to pay the fee for each.
