Mother (parents) classroom (advance application required)
Learn about pregnancy and childbirth and childcare.
For first-time births and partners living in Midori Ward. People raising children in the same area gather to learn about pregnancy and childbirth and childcare.
- Reception desk Midori Ward Office 1F Medical Examination Floor
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd time: From 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm (reception is from 1:00 pm)
- 4th time: From 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm (reception is from 1:00 pm)
- Capacity of about 20 people ※If you exceed the capacity, you will be notified from the earliest expected date of childbirth.
- What to bring Mother and Child Health Handbook, Yokohama Child Care Guidebook "Dhare", writing utensils, drinks (free)
- ※Please come in exercise clothes for the second time.

※If you are unable to participate in the month indicated in the “Target Target Guide (Scheduled Birth Month)”, please apply in a convenient month.
(Please come between 6 months and 9 months of pregnancy.)
※The Midori Ward Office parking lot is charged from the viewpoint of promoting proper use of parking lots, but there is a 60-minute reduction for those who participate in classrooms.
Please check the Midori Ward Office website for the latest information on parking fees.
If you have any concerns or consultation, please contact Midori Ward Children and Families Support Division.
Midwives, public health nurses, and maternal and child health coordinators will be available for consultation by telephone or interview.
