Children's Community Development Event
"Mini Mini Midori (Mini Midori) Plus SDGs"
About "Children's Community Development Event" and "SDGs"
The “Children's Community Development Event” is a Midori Ward version of the “Mini Munich” held in Munich, Germany.
"Children's town" is a child-centered town. In addition to ward offices, schools, banks, etc., various shops appear, find a job at a job center and get a work salary, you can shop in your own currency. You can experience the economic cycle.
The Children's Executive Committee is a central member who thinks about the structure of the town, and plays an active role as the store manager on the day of the children's town development event.
Since the 50th anniversary of the constituency system in fiscal 2019, Midori Ward has held “Children's Community Development Events” to foster young people who will lead the next generation in line with the basic goal of Midori Ward's management policy, “Hometown Green for Everyone to Connect to the Next Generation”.
From fiscal 2023 onwards, while valuing our efforts to date, we will incorporate the “SDGs Perspectives” and “Perspectives for Realizing a Decarbonized Society” into this event and connect the products and services of children’s stores to the SDGs numbers, promote SDGs and environmental learning together with children who will lead the next generation, and promote SDGs and decarbonization initiatives throughout the Midori Ward.
