At the veterinarian Hospital, a training instructor, Dr. Hiroko Otsukyuuda, was invited as a lecturer to learn how to train dogs in case of disaster.
The first lecture (lecture) was held at the Midori Ward Office, with many examples of how the owner prepares and prepares for disasters, basic discipline based on dog ecology, and discipline required in the event of a disaster.
The second (practical) was co-hosted with Hassakaya Park, and a practical exercise with a dog was held. It was canceled in the morning because it was raining, but it was held in the afternoon, and the basics of discipline such as "Icontact", "Sitting", "Wandering", "Oide", etc. Practices were also conducted assuming life at the time of the disaster, such as "entering inside" and "using food trays for feeding dishes".
Participants commented that they had deepened their understanding of how to discipline dogs and how to prepare for disasters.

In fiscal 2019, as part of a project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Midori Ward system, the "Straw Art" work began to be renewed because more than three years have passed since it was produced.
