Last updated on July 9, 2024.
What is evacuation?
Evacuation is to "evacuate" "difficulty" and to ensure safety. Going to evacuation sites is not the only evacuation action.
If you can secure safety at home in the event of a disaster, try to evacuate at home, such as vertical evacuation. You don't have to go to evacuation sites to anyone in a safe place. Let's consider evacuation behavior and evacuation sites in advance, such as keeping safe relatives and friends' homes in evacuation sites as well as the government-established evacuation sites.

Information on evacuation behavior
In order to protect yourself from storms and floods such as typhoons and guerrilla downpours, it is very important to assume evacuation actions in advance. Especially if you live in areas at risk of flooding or landslide, consider and prepare specific evacuation actions.
In addition, be sure to prepare necessary items to be taken out in case of emergency on a daily basis, and when evacuating, take measures against infectious diseases such as wearing masks.
