Tuberculosis medical expenses Public Expenditure System

Based on the Act on the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Medical Care for Patients with Infectious Diseases (Infectious Diseases Law), all or part of the medical expenses of tuberculosis will be borne by public funds.
If you are diagnosed with tuberculosis, please contact Health Promotion Section Health and Welfare Center, Health and Welfare Division, where you live immediately.

Hepatitis Treatment medical expenses Subsidy Program

Type B and C viral hepatitis is a disease that can progress to serious conditions such as cirrhosis and liver cancer in the future.
In Kanagawa Prefecture, we support interferon treatment (excluding small-lot long-term administration) for the purpose of removing hepatitis B and C viruses, and medical expenses for the treatment of nucleic acid analog preparations for type B viral hepatitis.
