About the grant situation of my number card, receipt of personal number letter of advice

For those who are applying for a My Number Card (Personal Number Card), we will mail a postcard "Grant Notification" that will guide you through the procedure of receiving the card sequentially from those who are ready to hand over the card.

When you receive the letter of delivery, please prepare the required documents (to the City of Yokohama, Civic Affairs Bureau page) at the 2nd floor of Nishi Ward Office.

Currently, about one month after applying, we mail a letter of delivery and issue a My Number Card.

In addition, it may take some time before issuance due to problems with the system for issuing the card.

※If a problem is found during the inspection of the card, the issuer J-LIS (Local Government Information System Organization) will recreate it, so even if the application is made within the above period, the delivery of the delivery notice will be delayed .

The "Grant Notification" has a description of the deadline for the next agency. Please come to window 2 on the first floor of Nishi Ward Office as soon as possible.

※The 2nd and 4th Saturday opening days (9:00 am to noon) are very crowded, so please come with plenty of time.

We notified my number by "my number notification card" from October 5, 2015, but the handling of new issuance, reissue, name and address change was finished on May 24, 2020.

From May 25, 2020, your My Number will be notified by the "Personal Number Notice".

About three weeks after completing procedures such as birth registration form, you will receive a personal number notice, but if delivery is not possible, we will keep it at the ward office.
If you have not received it, please bring your identification documents to Family Registry Division Registration Section, the ward office of your ward.
