It's fun! (Higashikubo Town Dream Town Development Council Disaster Prevention Walk Rally)

　On April 23, Higashikubo-cho dream town development meeting disaster prevention walk rally was held. .
　The Higashikubo Town Dream Town Development Council is an organization composed of three Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, Higashikubo Town Tohokai, Higashikubo Town Higashidaikai, and Higashikubo Town Higashi Mutsumikai. It is an organization that works to create a living environment where people can continue to live with peace of mind, such as widening narrow roads in the district and improving small squares.
　On the day, more than 200 people, from small children to elderly people, participated in the walking day where the sun looked through the clouds, and experienced a seismic vehicle, water fire extinguisher, smoke experience house and bucket relay at Ikenoue Park,stamp rally,evacuation route.
　At each point in stamp rally, there were exhibits where visitors could touch emergency supplies, cardboard beds, and portable toilets, and there were many mechanisms to learn and experience disaster prevention knowledge while having fun strolling.
　For disaster countermeasures, daily preparation and connections between neighbors are important. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those who have spread the importance of self support and promote community support's efforts in the community.
　The ward office will also work together with local residents to promote disaster-resistant town development.
