Sakae Ward's 30th Anniversary Project “portable shrine Project”

This project aims to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the constituency system by creating a float and portable shrine full of regional colors for each of the seven district associations in the ward.
The floats and portable shrines run around the city as symbols of celebration, connect feelings and joy, and the united thoughts toward the future.
We made the area even more exciting.

For the first time, floats and mikoshi produced by each district association met together, and a parade of 300 people was held grandly under fine weather.

This video shows the production of floats and portable shrine at the 7 districts of Sakae Ward as part of the portable shrine Project, a relay event commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Sakae Ward system.
Toyoda Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association, Kasama Alliance Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association, Kosugaya Alliance Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association, Hongo Central Alliance Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association, Hongo Third Alliance Neighborhood Associations. The Kamigo Nishi Alliance Neighborhood Association and the Kamigo Higashi Alliance Neighborhood Association, each of which explained the characteristics and enthusiasm of floats and portable shrine.

We will display the state of the project taken by the local people through the activities of the year.

For each district association, we produced original posters and posted them at facilities for residents of the city.

Floats and mikoshis that take advantage of the characteristics of each district association were displayed at JR Hongodai Station Square at the closing event, and the finale was colored.

Overview: The floats and portable shrines produced by each regional association were displayed at the Hongodai station square, and interviews with persons in charge introduced the production of floats and portable shrine. In addition, local children performed on the special stage.
