Seya Ward Action Guidelines
In Yokohama City, the super-aging society was reached in 2013, and in 2025, when the baby boomers were 75 years old or older (hereinafter referred to as the latter-stage elderly), the elderly aged 65 and over It is expected to reach about 1 million people (aging rate: 28.9%). For this reason, the "Action Guidelines for the Construction of a Yokohama-type comprehensive community care system" has been formulated, in which medical care, nursing care, nursing care prevention, housing, and life support are comprehensively secured.
As for the situation in Seya Ward, the aging rate is 26.7%, exceeding the city average, and the aging rate of late-elderly people is 13.5%, which is higher than other wards. In 2025, it is expected that the number of elderly people will increase further and the working-age population will decrease. Recognizing this situation, stakeholders (administrations, medical and welfare organizations, volunteers, etc.) share the direction they should aim for in their respective positions, and formulate the Seya Ward Action Guidelines for Action in cooperation with local action groups or residents such as Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations.
With the aim of becoming a “Seya where everyone can live with peace of mind forever,” we will promote comprehensive community care that is unique to Seya Ward.
