Let's work on green curtains!
Last updated on October 27, 2020.
What is a green curtain?
It is covered like a curtain by crawling with vine plants such as bitter gourd on the outside of the window or on the wall. Direct sunlight-grown leaves entering through windows can block the rise in indoor temperature, which increases the efficiency of use of air conditioners and saves energy. Seeds are suitable from April to May and seedlings are planted from May to June. For those who are working for the first time, we recommend growing them from seedlings.

The thick leaves block the sunlight and the temperature of the building is kept low. In addition, the surrounding temperature can be reduced by evaporating the water absorbed by plants from the roots.
Green curtains of various plants
Speaking of green curtains, bitter gourd is typical, but vine plants other than bitter gourd become fine green curtains. It is characterized by the season and appearance of growing depending on the type, so growing various plants will expand the enjoyment.
