Green supporter (nursing volunteer) <We are recruiting at any time!＞
As part of environmental education for children, Seya Ward distributes bitter gourd seedlings and flower seedlings to elementary schools and nursery schools to green them. The flower seedlings to be distributed are grown by green supporters who are inhabitants of the ward on unused public land (commonly known as nursery centers) in the city.
Overview of Activities
[Contents] Management and training of flower seedlings such as bitter gourd seedlings and pansies (seeding, replanting, watering, weeding, etc.)
[Place] Nursery Center (3-46-8 Hashido, Seya-ku) ※About a 30-minute walk from Seya Station. You can't come by car.
Schedule Morning on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month (excluding New Year holidays)

Seya Station North Exit Station Square <We are recruiting volunteers for raising flowers!＞
At the 40th anniversary event of the constituency system in 2006, some of the planters installed at Seya Station North Exit Plaza have been left without removing them, and volunteers are still taking care of them and working on greening and beautification in front of the station.

Schedule Morning on the fourth Wednesday of every month (excluding New Year holidays)

Flowerbed in Spring
It is a flower bed with seedlings planted. Colorful flowers such as Marigold, Petunia, and Portulaca color the flowerbed. Now it's still a small seedling, but in summer it should bloom beautiful flowers full of flower beds!
The flower bed in summer
The height of the seedlings planted in the spring is growing, and flowers such as petunia and Marigold are blooming well! It is an accent of the flower bed.
Flower beds in autumn and winter
Replanted with winter flowers such as Pansy Viola, Stock, Garden cyclamen, and Primula. There are still buds, but I'm looking forward to blooming beautiful flowers without losing the cold.
