Waterside course of Izumi River

　In the past, it was said that he dedicated the seedlings of Sakaki in Hachimangu Shrine Kamakura and prayed for the protection of the village as a sacred body, and has been worshiped as the sacred tree.
　In 1873, Tennosha, located in Hiromachi, Futatsu Bridge, was enshrined by the Anti-Buddhist movement of Meiji period and the subsequent enshrining order.

　Waka (1613) said to have been written by Ieyasu Tokugawa on the stone monument (1613), "Futatsu Bridge Kana passed over Shimizugawa with Shimijimi and Kiyo flow" and Ishibashi Peace pagoda (1856)) are said to be the origin of the place name Futatsu Bridge.
　There is also a signpost indicating the junction between Hachioji traffic and Kanagawa traffic.

　There is a walking path along the river in the Higashiyama Fureai Forest, where you can enjoy the hydrangea of Seya Ward planted in October 1999 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Seya District System.
　The waterfront of Higashiyama is an area where you can enjoy the nature where the water and greenery of the Izumi River are in harmony.

　It is the first waterside to be maintained as the waterside of the Izumi River, where various birds inhabit and it is a place to relax and feel the hometown.

　During the Kanei era of the Edo period (1624-1644), Shigekatsu Hagimoto gave the land of Miyazawa to make up for the shortage of known land, and emigrated the villagers of Kamiyabe Village (Totsuka Ward) under his control and cleared it.
　On the left side of shrine hall is the god of farming and the god of sericulture. There are Japanese bay tree and zelkova (both about 370 years old) in Furuki, a famous tree designated by Yokohama City.

　It is a place where the six roads extend radially, and is the junction of the road connecting Hoshi no Tani Kannon and Komyoji Kannon at Bando 33 Kannon Fudasho.
　Rokudo refers to Buddhism, "Jigokudo, Gakido, Livestock Road, Shurado, Human Road, Tendo", and the farewell road is called Tsuji of Rokudo. It was thought that Jizo Bodhisattva would provide relief from six roads.
