Here are some of the countdown projects organized by the Council or organized in cooperation.

・[Four years ago] Planting hydrangea, a flower of Seya Ward

To commemorate the 900 days before the "GREEN x EXPO 2027", this time, an art workshop was held using coffee lees discharged from cafes in the city. This time, at the ward administration PR booth of the 3rd Shine Festival held on the same day at Seya Station North Exit Station Square, a total of 119 people participated.

In commemoration of the 1,000 days before the GREEN x EXPO 2027, we made leases this time. This time, the event was held twice in the morning and afternoon, and a total of 39 groups touched the flowers through leasing.
Outside the venue, we also set up a photo spot where you can take pictures with the Seyamaru object, as well as a photo spot where you can take a lease.

Implementation details: Workshop on making leases using fresh flowers

To commemorate the 1100 days before the "GREEN x EXPO 2027", a workshop was held to make swag, which means "wall decoration" in German. A total of 31 groups, from one person to those with children, participated and touched the flowers through making swaggs.
　In addition, a photo spot was set up outside the venue, and photos of the memories of the participants were taken.

On November 1, 2023, 1234 days before the GREEN x EXPO 2027 event was held, the Seyamaru Objects created by the Council and the Seya Ward Office, and the Piano recital was held with pianist Naoki Hayashi. Visitors were given a film planter made of seeds of special package design and egg shells.

As part of our efforts to foster momentum for the GREEN x EXPO 2027, we held a ceremony to showcase the Seyamaru Object, jointly organized by the Seya Ward Promotion Council of the Yokohama International Horticultural Expo and the Seya Ward Office.

A piano recital was held with Mr. Naoki Hayashi, a pianist from Seya Ward, as a special guest.

GREEN x EXPO 2027 was held on August 27, 2023, 1300 days before the GREEN x EXPO 2027 event, SEYA Café, an event where you can buy and eat agricultural products from Seya Ward.

・3 kitchen cars using agricultural and livestock products from Seya Ward (opens: kebab, yakisoba, churos, shaved ice, ice cream, soft drinks, etc.)
・Direct sales of vegetables from Seya Ward (sold on light trucks for mobile sales)
・1,000 bags of vegetable seeds distributed ≪Type: Radish≫

Four years ago, Seya Ward children and high school students cooperated to plant flower hydrangeas in the ward in front of the ward building (Futatsu Bridge Park).
Seya Nishi High School, which will be completed in 2022, was the last activity, but we promised a reunion in 2027 to look forward to each growth.
In addition, with the cooperation of children, we have created a panel to publicize GREEN x EXPO 2027.
