Frequently Asked Questions (Health Examinations)
As a result of the reform of the healthcare system, the basic Health Checkups, which was implemented by Yokohama City at ward offices, etc., was completed in March 2008.
From April 2008, each medical insurer was obliged to implement "Specific Health Checkups Specific Health Guidance" to prevent lifestyle-related diseases for insured persons and dependents between the ages of 40 and 74.

※Yokohama-shi carries out sequentially about insured person of medical system for elder senior citizens living in the city, social security recipient 40 years or older who does not take out medical insurance. → For more information, please visit the Health Checkups page of Yokohama City.
In addition, we do not conduct medical examinations for the purpose of issuing medical certificates to be submitted at the time of employment, enrollment, qualification acquisition, etc.
