About application for confirmation of drainage plan

Drain pipes, sewage masu and rainwater masu in residential lands installed to drain sewage from kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, etc. and rainwater falling in residential lands to public sewers laid and managed by the city on roads, etc. Is called drainage equipment.
When constructing new drainage facilities, flushing toilets, abolishing human waste septic tanks, etc., submit an application for confirmation of drainage facilities (remodeling toilets) plan to Public Works Office in advance, and the plan is based on the Sewerage Law and the Yokohama City Sewerage Law. You must receive confirmation from the mayor that it conforms to laws and regulations on the installation and structure of drainage facilities, including the City Sewerage Ordinance.
