About sewer self-financing construction

Sewerage self-financing construction is construction that a person other than Yokohama City performs construction about sewerage facilities on public roads at his own expense.
When we carry out sewer self-financing construction, we must submit an application for approval of construction of sewer facilities to the responsible Public Works Office before construction and obtain approval from Mayor Yokohama or Mayor Public Works Office. (Articles 16 and 27 of the Yokohama City Sewerage Ordinance)

Please fill out the application form with required items, attach required documents and submit it to Public Works Office.

The following documents (1 to 6) are usually attached for installation pipe self-financing work. Please contact us for more information.

1. Guide map
Copy of house map, etc.

2. Layout Plan
The exterior of the building and the position of the mounting pipe are known.

3. Floor plan
The extension of the mounting pipe is entered from the inside of the basin to the center of the main pipe. No. 1 decimal point (in meters)
Refer to the installation pipe laying diagram of Yokohama City Sewerage Design Standard Map (tube version).

4. Longitudinal diagram
The extension of the mounting pipe is entered from the inside of the basin to the center of the main pipe. No. 1 decimal point (in meters)

5. Excavation cross section
It is suitable for the pavement type of the part. Please check with Public Works Office.

6. Copy of Drainage Equipment Plan Confirmation Application
A set of duplicates with confirmation marks.

If you have received a letter of approval from Public Works Office, please submit it to Public Works Office along with the schedule to registration form.

When we are going to extend construction period for unavoidable reason, we must submit construction period extension registration form such as construction of public sewer facility to the mayor with schedule. (Yokohama City Sewerage Ordinance, Article 17, Paragraph 5)
The "unavoidable reason" herein may, in principle, be as follows.

• In cases where negotiations with local residents are difficult and construction is delayed.
• When construction is delayed due to relocation, cut, protection, etc. of underground buried objects.
• When an unexpected accident occurs at the design stage of soft ground, spring water, etc., resulting in a change in the construction method, etc., and construction is delayed due to this.
• When construction is delayed due to natural disasters, land changes, etc.

Change of sewerage self-financing construction
When we change construction periods for unavoidable reason or are going to change facility contents at the time of approval application, we must submit change registration form such as public sewer facility construction to the mayor. (In the case of minor, it will be corrected in the book.) Please contact us for more information.

The applicant must submit the completed registration form to the competent Public Works Office as soon as the completion of the construction of public sewerage facilities.

If there is no defect in the contents of the self-financing construction (if it can be taken over as a facility in Yokohama City), after the completion inspection, a certificate of completion inspection (with the mayor's seal or Public Works Office's seal stamped) will be issued to the applicant. Will be
