Introduction of parks and green roads
We mainly introduce big parks and green roads in the city. One of the charms of Tsuzuki Ward is that you can touch nature such as greenery and babbling.

Park
①Yamada Fuji Park (Kitayamada 1-4)
Some Fujizuka still remains in Tsuzuki Ward . Among them, Yamada Fuji has an old history that appeared in "New Edition Musashi topographical record" (1828 (Bunsei 11)), and is now maintained as a park and is famous as a famous cherry blossom spot.
②Yamazaki Park (Nakagawa 4-19)
Close to Municipal Subway Nakagawa Station, it is a park characterized by a pond, an outdoor pool and a plaza. In spring, the cherry blossoms around the square are wonderful.
③Otsuka Toshikatsudo Ruins Park (Otana Nishi 1)
It is a park that restored and maintained the pit-type dwellings and square tombs of the Otsuka and Toshikatsudo archeological sites, which are nationally designated historic sites. There is a workshop in the park where you can experience and learn pottery making.
④Chigasaki Castle Ruins Park (2-25, Chigasaki Higashi)
It is a park that has been developed as a historical park at Chigasaki Castle. There are commentary boards and toilets for those that make up the castle, such as Kuo (resident area), empty moats, earthworks, Dobashi, wells, etc. in the east, west, north and middle.
⑤Tsuzuki Chuo Park (Eda Higashi 4-11)
It is the largest general park in the city. Facilities such as ponds, charcoal grilling facilities, rest areas, etc. are also maintained while retaining nature such as satoyama, forests and Tando.
⑥Kamoike Park (Eda Minami 1-18)
It is a park with a large pond and a square across the road. On the open space side, there is a children's log house "Kamoike Land".
⑦Kuzugaya Park (Nagasaka 15)
It is a park with a plaza and a ground in the middle of Sasabune Road. Stone monuments that also serve as square stones in the square and stone pergola give the atmosphere of the archeological site.
⑧Seseragi Park (Katsuta Minami 1-20)
It is a park with a large pond with lots of wild birds. An old private house has been relocated to the back of the park to convey the atmosphere of Tsuzuki Ward when it was once a rural village.
⑨Chigasaki Park (1-4, Chigasaki Minami)
There are unique areas such as "lawn open space", "ike / murmuring", "forest forest area", and "natural ecology garden", where you can enjoy strolling and nature observation.
➉Toho Park (2444-1 Tohomachi)
It is a park with large and small grounds. A cherry tree surrounds the large ground.
Green road
⑪Fujiya Tomichi
It is a green road that connects Ushikubohigashi Natsumikan Park to Tokuo Park, Yamada Fuji Park, etc. The green path is dotted with monuments of the zodiac of Earthly Branches.
⑫Sabue no Michi
It is a green road connecting the municipal subway Nakagawa Station to Ushikubo Park and Tokuo Park. The murmuring flows along the road, and you can enjoy flowers such as Magnolia kobus in spring and autumn leaves in autumn.
⑬Squeezing
It is a green road that connects Hayabuchi Park to Chigasaki Park via Seseragi Park. There is silence that does not make you feel that it is a residential area.
⑭Sabue no Michi
It is a green road that connects Tsuzuki Chuo Park, Kamoike Park, Ohara Minemichi Park, etc. It is a quiet green road surrounded by trees, and the autumn leaves are wonderful.
⑮Yubae no Michi
It is a green road that connects Tsukidematsu Park, Tsuda Park, Kawawa Fuji Park, etc. There is a signpost of natural stone standing in front of Kawawa Higashi Elementary School on the way, and you can read it as "Migisa Edo, Hidari Kawawa".
⑯Egawa Seseragi Green Road
Egawa River, where advanced treated water from Tsuzuki Wastewater Treatment Plant flows while moisturizing the city. promenade is set up along the river and you can take a walk while watching the seasonal flowers. In particular, many Yoshino cherry tree and tulips are planted on the riverbank upstream of the Kohoku Interchange on the Daisan Keihin Expressway, making it a great place to stroll through the warm spring sunshine while viewing cherry blossoms.

Rules for bicycle traffic
● In parks and green roads, in principle, we get off the bicycle and push walk.
In places with the "slow" mark, you can pass slowly, but pedestrian priority is given.
● On bicycle pedestrian-only roads, pedestrians pass slowly with priority.
● On the sidewalk, you cannot run except in places where bicycles are designated.
● When you drive on the road, you drive on the left.
Activities of Local Volunteers
Many local volunteers such as Park Protection Association, Waterside Protection Association, Hama Road Supporters are playing an active role in maintaining and managing familiar public spaces such as roads, waterways, parks and green roads in detail. .
Tsuzuki Public Works Office supports its activities by providing flower seedlings and fertilizers, lending tools, and holding technical courses. In addition, for volunteers who want to work at the individual level, first give a business card-sized "guidance card" that describes points to keep in mind when working, and then lend tools and collect garbage.
