The story of well water
The story of well water
Are you kind to nature?
Be careful of domestic wastewater that comes out every day!
Domestic wastewater, such as kitchen and bath water, becomes sewage, purified at a sewage treatment plant, and then returned to nature.
Try to live a nature-friendly life so that the amount of domestic wastewater can be reduced as much as possible, such as treating the oil that is no longer needed without flushing it as it is, or reusing the bath water for washing.
Flow of Lively Water
It's you to manage it.
Well water that uses water that has soaked underground can be contaminated with various substances.
Contamination of well water due to chemical substances is not noticed in daily management and inspection.
Use tap water that has been confirmed to be safe for drinking water, and use well water as miscellaneous water such as washing water.
If you have any questions about using well water, please contact Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division.
*When drinking wells are contaminated
Please inform the user immediately to stop drinking and contact Health and Welfare Center.
To owners and managers
When well water is used as domestic water for drinking at business establishments and multiple households, etc., according to the "Water Supply Law" or "Ordinance on Securing Safe and Sanitary Drinking Water in Yokohama City Simple Water Supply and Small Water Tank Water Supply" , "Preliminary confirmation of laying work", "water quality inspection", "test of periodic inspection of management status", etc. are required. If you plan to use well water for drinking, please contact Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division as soon as possible.
