Overview
Yagurazawa, which passes north of Kanagawa Prefecture, is the back road of the Tokaido, and was also called the Oyama Kaido because it was the center road for Oyama worship. Eda, along with Nagatsuta, has been designated as an inn station since the early Edo period. A nightlight is left to tell the prosperity of the inn at that time. This light is 230 centimeters tall and is engraved with "Mount Akiha" on Nakadai and "Night Night Light" on the pole. This lantern, built in 1861, was built in the guide inn of Akiba-ko, and was built in Eda-juku, Kanagawa-juku, Ichigao-mura, Suwa-Kawara-mura in Kawasaki, etc. The donation of volunteers is raised.
