Overview

Two excavations were conducted in 1967 and 1944, and a total of ten burial mounds were found: two keyhole-shaped kofun, one square tumulus, four round burial mound and three square tumulus. These burial mounds are considered to be the burial ground of the region's chiefs and those associated with them from the late 4th to 7th centuries. From ancient tombs, balls such as tube balls and glass beads, ironware such as iron swords and iron arrowheads, and burial items such as earrings have been found.
Currently, three tombs, No. 15, No. 16, and No. 17, have been preserved and released.
