Standards for equipment and operation under the new system

The government has not yet provided standards (authorization standards) for facilities and operation to be eligible for benefits under the new system. Based on the standards indicated by the government as a Cabinet Order or ministerial ordinance (planned during 2013), Yokohama City will determine it as ordinances and rules.

Therefore, it is not possible to determine at this time whether individual childcare facilities in-house that are already operating are eligible for benefits.
