• We are a research institute of a wholly owned subsidiary of the Development Bank of Japan, Ltd. and have been established separately from the Japan Economic Res. Inst., established in 1946, the research and consulting division. From a fair, neutral and long-term perspective, we conduct domestic and international research on economic and industrial fields, regional development, urban development, social capital development, PFI/PPP, environment/energy, medical and welfare, as well as ODA-related research in developing countries.
