We had 13 companies in the city switch to electric menu "Hamako Electricity" which utilized renewable energy of incineration plant!

The city of Yokohama is promoting the locally grown and consumed of renewable energy to achieve Zero Carbon Yokohama by 2050. As a new initiative, Tokyo Electric Power will sell the electricity menu "Hamako Electric" for city businesses, utilizing renewable energy (biomass) from Motoichi Incineration Plant and renewable energy from solar power generation at city homes. Started from Monday, November 1, 2021 by Energy Partner Co., Ltd. We would like to introduce the 13 businesses in the city who agreed with the purpose of this project as soon as possible and switched to renewable energy in 2021.
We will continue to take measures to support decarbonization promotion of city businesses.
