In 2021's analysis and evaluation by CDP, an international non-profit organization that conducts environmental assessments, Yokohama City was selected as a "City A List" city, the highest rating as a municipality that tackles environmental issues. For this selection, a video message from Mayor Takeharu Yamanaka will be broadcast at a CDP-sponsored symposium held on December 3 (Friday).
