　Yokohama City is strengthening measures against global warming and energy measures to realize a decarbonized "Zero Carbon Yokohama" by 2050, and is promoting initiatives to realize a sustainable urban model. As part of this initiative, we have concluded a partnership agreement on renewable energy with 16 local governments that have abundant renewable energy resources.
　In the cooperation agreement, we will also cooperate on the creation of mutual regional vitality triggered by connections between local governments regarding the promotion of decarbonization. We will hold the "Iwate Hirono-Yokohama Kizuna Festival in Yokohama Hakkeijima sea paradise" sponsored by Hirono-cho, Iwate Prefecture, which has concluded a cooperation agreement. The event will be co-hosted by Yokohama City to introduce underwater performances and special products by Yonocho's Southern Diver and Northern Ama divers.
