In response to the prolonged impact of the COVID-19 infection, the government's “Comprehensive Emergency Measures for Crude Oil Prices and Prices during the COVID-19 pandemic” (April 2022) included the provision of “Special Benefits for Child-Rearing Households for Low-income Child-Rearing Households” as a measure to support the poor living facing rising prices. Based on this decision, we will start providing payment in Yokohama City from the end of June.
The payment of this benefit will be determined by a resolution at the 1st Extraordinary Meeting of City Counsil in 2022.
