Opened the city's first station Naka base “SDGs Station Yokohama Sekinai” on the premises of Kannai Station on the municipal subway!

Climate Change Policy Headquarters, Transportation Bureau, Yokohama SDGs Design Center and Yokohama Kotsu Development Co., Ltd. have concluded a partnership agreement to further promote and spread the SDGs Future City, and will establish the SDGs Station Yokohama Sekinai Station, a station Naka awareness center that utilizes space within the municipal subway Kannai Station.
This project, which establishes an SDGs awareness base on the station premises, is the first initiative in Yokohama City, and not only customers who regularly use municipal subways, but also many customers who visit Kannai for events and sightseeing, from various angles, we will use it as a place to disseminate initiatives in Yokohama and to stimulate action.
On the commencement date of operation on March 28, 2023, as an opening commemorative event, a gift plan for the first 100 people will be held.
