Yokohama City is working to deepen its connection with U.K. as a pre-campsite and UK host town for the British national team of the Tokyo 2020 Games.
As the expansion of COVID-19 infection has made it difficult for visitors to Japan and direct exchanges, we decided to take advantage of our existing connections with U.K. to conduct online exchanges between the U.K. Olympic Committee and high school students in the city as a form of international exchange that can be done during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This time, Ed Jones, Marketing Manager at the British Olympic Committee, will give online classes mainly to students studying in sports management and international departments at Yokohama Municipal Yokohama Commercial High School.
