Yokohama City is working to deepen its connection with U.K. as a pre-campsite and UK host town for the British national team of the Tokyo 2020 Games.
As the expansion of the COVID-19 infection has made it difficult to come to Japan and direct exchanges, we decided to take advantage of our existing connections with U.K. to conduct U.K. online exchanges in Municipal Elementary Schools as a form of international exchange that can be done during the pandemic.
This time, a quiz about U.K. and an activity on the theme of U.K. and the Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held online with the participation of people living in Yokohama City. We will also introduce a message video from English swimmers.
