Through the preservation and utilization of Historic buildings, the city has developed a town where people can feel the individuality and charm of Yokohama. Buildings with particularly high value are certified as "Yokohama City Certified Historic buildings" (104 cases in this case).
We have now certified the former Negishi Racecourse First Class Mamisho in Negishi Forest Park in Naka Ward.
In the future, we will position it as one of the initiatives under the “New Yokohama Earthquake Disaster Prevention Strategy” to promote earthquake resistance and consider ways to utilize the unique appeal of Historic buildings.
