From Saturday, November 16, 2024 to Sunday, December 1, 2024, a memorial exhibition introducing the long-standing achievements of architect hiko Maki, who died in June this year, to the long-standing achievement of Yokohama.
It will be held at the presentation space on the 2nd floor of Yokohama City Hall.
Maki has been involved in numerous research, planning and design related to public architecture and urban design in Yokohama, including the current Yokohama City Hall. In the exhibition, Mr. Maki's design philosophy was introduced.
Focusing on "Yokohama City Hall" and "Kanazawa Seaside Town", which are deeply felt, we will give an overview of "public architecture" and "urban design" initiatives in various parts of Yokohama, along with valuable materials and images.
