The estimated population is calculated as of the 1st of each month, based on the results of the most recent census, taking into account child birth, death, transfer, etc. Regardless of the registration of the Basic Resident Register, it is intended for people who actually live. "Population based on the Basic Resident Register" is calculated as of the last day of each month from the number of residents recorded in the Basic Resident Register provided in each municipality. It is intended for people who have resident certificate in Yokohama.
