808 entries were received for elementary and junior high school students in the city, and as a result of strict examination, 64 special prizes were selected. . I think it was difficult for the judges to choose a special prize from among them, with wonderful works filled with the aspirations and wishes of each child.

The history of the beginning of writing is old, and it is said that it originated from the Imperial Palace events during the Heian period.
The beginning of writing, an important custom of the New Year, writing New Year's resolutions and target words, has been handed down to the Reiwa era, and the "New Year's Writing Beginning Exhibition" has become a feature of Hodogaya's New Year.
I think there are many things this year as well, but as you wrote, I hope you will become a "Genki" Hodogaya Ward full of "dream" and "hope".
